The Best of 2011 at Dubbs|Eyeframe

2011 saw some fantastic films released, and Dubbs|Eyeframe are proud to have worked on the many of the year’s biggest and best features. Titles we have worked include, The King's Speech, Drive, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Kill List, The Inbetweeners Movie, Source Code, Submarine and Tyrannosaur to name a few...

Perhaps the biggest success story of the year was The King’s Speech, which broke countless box office and DVD records. Dubbs|Eyeframe not only designed and authored the DVD and Blu-ray releases, but also produced a number of special features including a number of exclusive interviews. The year’s other massive UK hit was The Inbetweeners Movie, which was the hit of the summer in cinemas and went on to perform amazingly on DVD/Blu-ray. Dubbs|Eyeframe were involved in recording the audio commentaries for the home entertainment release, featuring cast and crew giving their insights into the making of this hilarious film.

Perhaps the coolest film of the year (and according to Total Film the best film of the year!) was the stunning Drive. We not only encoding and authored the DVD and Blu-ray, but in addition our design team produced stunning menus that complement this great looking film.

Another hit film that we worked on in 2011 was the brilliant and hilarious Submarine, directed by star of the IT Crowd Richard Ayoade. We also designed the DVD and Blu-ray menus for Paddy Considine’s gritty and brutal directorial debut Tyrannosaur – not an easy watch, but in our view one of the most important films of the year.

Other notable success stories that we worked on included Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, Source Code, and Kill List.

We can highly recommend that you take a look at industry blog “The Raygun’s” list of the End of Year Top 10’s, taken from the UK press (http://www.theraygun.co.uk/?p=3559) for a really interesting read.
